I currently work at SurvivorsUK as a counsellor for men who have experienced sexual violence, and have previously worked at North London Rape Crisis and The Haven Survivors of Abuse Network in Waltham Forest.  This has given me extensive experience working with both men and women who have been affected by sexual violence and abuse.  I have also worked with men and women who have been affected by other challenges in their childhood, including bullying, neglect and non-sexual abuse.

Before qualifying as a counsellor, I worked with adults and young people in the public and voluntary sector, including individuals affected by disability, poor mental health, problematic drug or alcohol use and those involved in the criminal justice or care system.

I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (membership number 336913) and hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.  Previous to qualifying as a counsellor, I studied Visual Art and Sociology at university and continue to enjoy creating art.

I am a firm believer in our ability to grow and change at any point in our lives and actively practice personal and professional development.
